Sunday night marked another history at the annual competition that featured beauty pageants from every state competing for the special crown for a new Miss America.
Hosted by Chris Harrison and Sage Steele, the event, broadcast live from the Boardwalk Hall Arena in Atlantic City had 51 contestants battling for the crown that went down to one big winner.
Miss North Dakota Cara Mund impressed the judges for her beauty, talent and brains. Whether it was her talent of jazz dancing to ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ by Michael Jackson or to her answers to her two rounds of questions, the panel was quite impressed.
Miss Missouri Jennifer Davis was the first runner-up, Miss New Jersey Kaitlyn Schoeffel was the second runner up, and Miss District of Columbia Briana Kinsey was the third runner up, and the fourth runner up was Miss Texas Margana Wood, While Miss North Dakota Cara Mund took the crown.
