Dwayne Johnson may be considering running for presidency considering the pace set by Donald Trump, a former On Screen Personality.
In an interview with GQ Magazine, Dwayne, the highest-paid actor in the business said, “I think that it’s a real possibility”
This would mean The White House would have to upgrade its gym to accommodate the Dwayne’s fitness needs as he may make a shift to politics.
‘The Rock’ will not be the first Hollywood star to make this shift; I mean Donald Trump has done it – he was once the host of “Celebrity Apprentice”. The likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronald Reagan have also gotten a fair share of both sides of entertainment and politics.
Dwayne told GQ that both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump had asked him to back them but he chose to steer clear of endorsing any candidates during the 2016 election.
“I feel like I’m in a position now where my word carries a lot of weight and influence, which of course is why they want the endorsement. But I also have a tremendous amount of respect for the process and felt like if I did share my political views publicly, a few things would happen…. I felt like it would either make people unhappy with the thought of whatever my political view was. And, also, it might sway an opinion, which I didn’t want to do.”
