Chance The Rapper has pays tribute to his late aunt Kimberly Bennett whom he referred to as ‘warrior’ after she lost the fight, following a battle with inflammatory breast cancer.
He wrote on Twitter: ‘My Auntie Kim lost her battle with Breast Cancer early Sunday morning….She was a warrior and wanted me to share this’..
By the his aunt had visited her doctor about the pain, she was in stage four of her cancer…’The disease is often misdiagnosed as there is no visible lump in the breast and mostly occurs when cancer cells block the lymphatic vessels in the skin around the breast, causing swollen breasts that are pretty hot to touch.’
The Coloring Book star is due to perform a headline set at Wireless Festival in Hyde Park on June 7 this year, although he previously had cancelled a number of European dates this summer as part of his ‘Be Encouraged tour’, including Øya in Oslo, Norway, Way Out West Festival in Gothenburg, Sweden, HAVEN in Copenhagen, Denmark and Pukkelpop in Hasselt, Belgiumhowever.
